DHANYA
A wonderful companion compressed into a 5 feet package.
Early memories of her are rather vague-In XIth, she was, literally speaking, the girl next door who made guest appearances to our class during breaks. Got to know her better during those house activities. She was a ready helper, keen assistant and efficient activist. Really she added life to many of those backbreaking jobs.
Came XIIth, and she joined entrance classes with us. Those evenings were really rejuvenating: her study wit and sharp response to anything "she felt like" were great refreshers. She was one person who maintained contact through and beyond the entrance exams.
I guess we got closer after school!
Her liveliness and homeliness always gave that reassuring sense of belonging whenever she was around. She graduated from well wishers to counselor in no time. When all of us entered our college lives, so full of activities and tension, she still remained for me that link with a beautiful past: that kept me to my mornings.

These years of college may have changed her: seen her grow, develop and evolve into a responsible young woman: but for me she still remains that wondrous child woman: with a' Handle with Care' warning about her. Here's to one person who really
colored my world.
